Spend time adventuring with more than one member of The Awakening
Obtain sponsorship of an existing member
Subscribe to The Awakening List
Submit a biography (with portrait if possible), list of skills, Zone ID, and Patron/Vassal info to aurika@earthlink.net
Attend formal induction ceremony with The Awakening (and your Patron, if possible)

Who are we?

Role-playing is the essence of The Awakening.

We spend the majority of our time in character, although we do not force our role-playing upon others who do not wish to participate. If extended role-playing isn't your style, then we encourage you to seek out another allegiance more suited to your tastes.

Some of us play multiple characters, each with a unique background and personality, while others choose to explore a single character to greater depths. But regardless of approach, we all do our best to help others of The Awakening explore their characters through impromptu/improvised theater, group adventures/quests, and shared resources and information.

We strongly recommend that each character stick to two vassals per character to minimize direct reports and to enable use of higher rank magical items. Since our mules are an integral part of our role playing, they are also in the allegiance tree. We have found that an effective way to integrate mules into the tree and allow them to get experience is to have each character have one mule and one active character as a vassal.
